Are you and your organization facing wicked problems where you don't know the solutions? Big societal problems that many have struggled with for years without getting a grip on them? Then come to INVI's Solution Lab. Here, experts Jacob Torfing and Eva Sørensen, together with INVI's team, will teach you how to design and lead co-creation processes that develop and roll out innovative solution modules that work in practice because they are both adaptable to context and scalable.
The course will be held on February 19-20 and March 2, 2026, from 9 am - 5 pm at INVI's premises at Snaregade 10B, 1208 Kbh K.
Dealing with wicked problems requires different solutions than the ones we typically resort to. Take the local Green Tripartite: When local actors need to collaborate on land conversion that takes into account climate considerations, biodiversity, local recreational opportunities and production considerations, standard solutions are rarely applicable. Each local area has unique needs, actors, opportunities and landscape. At the same time, methods and learning across the country are needed to achieve the necessary scale.
wicked problems are too big for a single department, organization or discipline to solve. Instead, we need to go into the lab and explore, develop and test solution elements - together and across organizations, implementation stages and disciplines. Instead of rolling out a chrome-plated solution all at once, initiatives need to be continuously pressure-tested and adjusted. But how do we do this without wasting resources on reinventing the wheel in every neighborhood or for every individual? How do we transfer experiences across initiatives and make it easier to build an initiative?
In INVI's Solution Lab, you will learn to co-create modules that can be transferred to other contexts and combined in different ways to match the complexity of the problem and local differences. All based on practical experience and the latest research.
